Persuasive Speech

I still used UM way too much as I was really trying not to use it at all. I should have brought note cards so I wouldn't have had a harder time trying to remember the exact dates, names, and studies I was citing. Some of the supporting evidence was kind of weak because I didn't spend enough time elaborating on the information. I'm glad that I was still able to make good time and cover everything that I needed to, and I think I'll do even better on the next one.

Life in a bag speech - self evaluation

I feel that I did a pretty good job on my speed. I wasn't at all nervous and there were no major mistakes or errors made. Definitely need to steer clear of void fillers like "um", but other than that I was clear and concise. I am glad I choose the items that I did (mp3 player, ds, flash drive, longboard) and I feel I did a good job explaining how they relate to me in a personal way, not just something taken at surface.
The speech went well, and I am all around satisfied.
